At St Shenouda Monastery, our mission is to live the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through a life of prayer, repentance, and quiet service. As a Coptic Orthodox monastic community, we strive to be a living witness to the ancient faith, drawing from the wellspring of the Desert Fathers and offering that same water of life to the world around us.

Our monastery is a place of stillness where souls can encounter God, a refuge for the weary, and a well of spiritual teaching for those who seek depth in their Christian life. Through hospitality, liturgical life, and the personal prayers of the brethren, we open the door for others to taste the peace and joy of a life in Christ.
One of the ways we share this life is through the work of St Shenouda Press. Through St Shenouda Press, we publish books that open the door to the riches of Orthodox Christianity, offering the words of the Church Fathers, the teachings of the saints, and the depth of Orthodox theology in a language accessible to today’s reader. In the same spirit, Asaph Tunes offers the timeless beauty of Orthodox teachings through songs, carrying the praises of the Church to the hearts of a new generation.
In all we do, we long to lift souls to God and make known the unchanging light of Christ in a world that so deeply needs Him.
